The Falcons own the 8th overall pick, five in the first 82 selections, and totaling nine in this week’s draft. It is the league’s 87th event; below is more information Falcons fans will be interested to know.
As always, you can rely on SportsTalkATL for news and breakdowns from the draft. You can also follow us on Twitter.
Falcons fans won’t have to wait long to see who their team selects, but if your favorite team is at the back end of the first round, expect to be up until close to midnight. Last year’s draft took three hours and 44 minutes. Moreover, if the Falcons trade back into the first round, as many pundits expect, fans can fully anticipate seeing the night end around midnight eastern time.
The draft has become quite the prize to televise. This year, NFL Network, ABC, ESPN, and ESPN Deportes will nationally broadcast the 2022 NFL Draft, while SiriusXM NFL Radio and ESPN Radio will cover the event on the radio.
The draft has become quite the spectacle. The draft will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada next to the Caesars Forum. This one should be entertaining.
