The Braves could be welcoming back a long last friend in the latter half of the year. Mike Soroka was at Truist Park on Friday, and Brian Snitker had some inspiring news. Atlanta’s manager said the right-hander has been “doing his normal” rehab. He included Soroka has thrown off the mound.
“Everything’s going good,” Snitker said. “He hasn’t had setbacks or anything, he’s doing everything they have for him on his rehab schedule.”
According to Mark Bowman, Soroka will, at some point, go to Florida to face live hitters. He included that Soroka remains hopeful he could return after the All-Star break.
Mike Soroka has thrown off a mound approximately five times and hopes to soon begin defensive drills, like covering first and fielding bunts. At some point, he hopes to go to Florida to face live hitters. He remains hopeful he could return at some point after the AS break.
