Young Thug is giving Nicki Minaj her flowers.

Without being prompted, the Atlanta rapper shared his appreciation for the rap queen. In an Instagram Story, Thugger declared Nicki among his top 5 greatest female artists of all time.

“Nicki Minaj, definitely top 5 female artists of all time,” he told his 9 million followers. “She definitely in the top 5, for me though, just for me.”

But he thinks others would agree with his opinion. “I think majority of people in the world, she definitely in the top 5,” he added.

Nicki has yet to respond to Thug’s praise, but the two are no strangers to collaboration. They have teamed up on tracks including “Anybody” and most recently on Elton John’s “Always Love You.”

Last year, Thug was asked to name his five greatest rappers alive during his appearance on the “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast. While he didn’t mention Nicki at the time, his list included his Young Stoner Life crew, along with Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, Drake, and Kanye West.

Thugger can be heard on two tracks (“Pushin P” and “Mop”) off Gunna’s new album Drip Season 4, which drops tonight.
