Newsmax apologized on Friday for falsely reporting that a Dominion Balloting Techniques worker, Eric Coomer, manipulated the results of the 2020 election.
In a press release printed to its web residing, Newsmax stated it “chanced on no proof that Dr. Coomer interfered with Dominion balloting machines or balloting instrument in any system, nor that Dr. Coomer ever claimed to salvage performed so. The general public apology comes four months after Coomer filed a defamation swimsuit against Newsmax for its mistaken claims about him, which added fodder to baseless conspiracy theories referring to the tip outcome of the election.
